Set Ablaze Your Weakness II
Do you know at a point in our lives, we all have faced weaknesses? Apostle Paul said in the book of 2 Corinthians Chapter 12:10, “That is why for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
I would never forget how difficult it was for me to get rid of anger. I talked to people anyhow, including my mother. I got angry to the extent of beating up my younger ones then. Do you know that anger can destroy that happy home you built in several years in a minute? Do you know that unquenchable annoyance that is the loophole the devil needs to penetrate your family’s happiness?
Listen! Weakness is not great for a Christian. I remember how I regret my actions after I must have done something wrong. How difficult it was for me to pray. I needed no one to tell me my prayers would never be answered. It was more like a torment to me.
Are you tired of losing it always? Are you leaving your children or wife with a constant red eye? Are you tired of that weakness that makes you willingly embrace fornication or adultery at all times? There is no getting rid of weakness without Jesus. You can set ablaze that weakness without Jesus. You need to pray violently and destroy every power giving power to that weakness.
When you cannot set ablaze your weakness, you might gradually be distancing yourself from the Holy Spirit. Take some time out to discover that weakness, ask God to help you. If possible, pray violently about it. The Holy Spirit is willing and ready to help you overcome all forms of weakness. I pray for you today; every flaw that has been planted to destroy your life is uprooted permanently in the mighty name of Jesus.
