Are You Diligent?
Happy New Week to you! It’s great to start the week with a newfound confidence in God. In all things, always believe Jesus loves you, and He can do beyond what we ever think or imagine. You should completely trust in Him and not forget to live a holy life because Jesus is coming pretty SOON!
Today, I want to talk on one of the keys to prosperity!
Do you know one of the ways of prospering in life is to be Delligent? Let me tell you a secret (with the scriptures backing me up); Diligence Leads To Prosperity! The Bible says in the book of Proverbs 22: 29: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. (King James Bible)
Another Version says: Show me someone who does a good job, and I will show you someone who is better than most and worthy of the company of kings. (Good News Translation)
Let me break it down for YOU…
The Bible says, show me a man who is Delligent, right? It means show me a man who is willing to go the extra miles; show me a man who is ready to burn a thousand candles to read a page; show me a man willing to do everything to be successful in life; show me a man who is willing to do everything to stand out in life; show me a man who is ready to win souls; in fact, the list is endless!
A diligent person, according to the English dictionary, is someone constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything.
You cannot be diligent and sit with mere MEN! It is a hard nut hard to crack! When you are diligent, there is this intense zeal to succeed, there is this strong desire to achieve things, and there is this strong determination to go the extra mile.
When you are diligent, kings will value you! Kings would go the extra mile to get you sitting with them. If, indeed, you want to be the best at your chosen craft, you must be diligent! Your business will move when you are diligent by you providing VALUE!
The Good news Translation says: Show me a man who does a good job (unique, lovely, adorable, life-changing, etc.), and I would show you a man who is better and worthy to sit before KINGS!
When God does his part by blessing your business, job, or your handwork, it is your responsibility to be DILIGENT! You should know that there is an instant lifting that follows a diligent man.
Ecclesiastes 9:10a says: Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might!
This past week, I heard a Testimony from a woman who has been a teacher for the past 35 years. She did the work with all her heart and never expected anything in return from anyone. She got to work before anyone, always before 7 am.
She continued doing this with total diligence until the second week of January 2020! On this particular day, The Holy Spirit woke her up and told her to get to the school before 6:30 am; She never argued but did all the necessary things and headed to her working place.
She got to her class before 6:30 am, which was the norm! Since the Head Mistress has handed her key to the whole school, She greeted the gatemen and headed straight to her class after opening all the classes. At 6:35 am, about 20 cars entered the school! She asked the gatemen who they were, and she was told by one of them it was the GOVERNOR!
She ran to Him, greeted him (honored Him), and the Governor said, “Are you the Head Mistress?” She replied by saying, “Sir, I am only a teacher who gets to school as early as possible to attend to my pupils! The Governor was shocked and immediately asked one of his commissioners to give the woman a bag containing money, and instantly, HE promoted her to the post of Vice-Head Mistress.
Are you diligent? Are you willing to sacrifice anything even when the money is not forth-coming to make people happy? The woman in the story received her lifting when she least expected it all because she was diligent.
So many of us are not diligent when it comes to the things of God! Have you told someone about Christ this week? Are you diligent in the church of God? When you go the extra miles to meet the need of God (wining souls), he will meet your needs.
Try to be diligent this week in all you do, and you will sit before KINGS and Queens in the mighty name of JESUS! Amen…
