It’s time you stop looking down!

Do you know Jesus is coming soon? There is no doubt about it that the coming of Christ is right in front of us? If Jesus should appear in the sky now, would you make heaven? Please ponder on this question before you read on 🙂

Are you depressed? Are you deeply sad because nothing is working?

It’s time for you to shake it off…

I am not here to flatter you, but I am here to let you know it is time for you to stop looking down!

When would you stop looking down? Have you forgotten what the Bible says in Matthew 14: 28-31 when Peter wanted to walk on water? Peter said, “Lord if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.”  “Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on water, and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, why did you doubt?”

Peter was confidently walking on water because our Lord Jesus told him to come. The very moment He allowed the wind to put fear on him, that was the very moment he started sinking! What is that wind that is making you not look up to Jesus; what is that tribulation that has taken your peace away from you?

Jesus is telling you this morning; I can make everything beautiful again. I can turn around that impossibility! It would help if you can believe in the supernatural for you to witness something unique in your life.

Hey! You need to stop looking down! When do I look down, you may ask? You look down on Jesus the moment you take your eyes away from Him. You look down on Jesus the very moment you put your trust in man? You look down on Jesus the very moment you stop believing in Him!

If truly nothing is working, why not pray to God? And if you have exhausted your prayer point, why not turn it to praise?

Praying and praising God is the key to unlocking heavenly doors. If Jesus has done it before, He can do it again for you.

I conclude with my life story…

There was a time nothing was working for me. I had cried my eyes out, but nothing was still working. I took it up to God, poured out my heart with total humility and sincerity as I awaited His response.

One day, I went for the regular Sunday service, while in Church, the Preacher said, “If you can give God one reason He needs to bless you (with total truthfulness and humility), He will bless you.

I was glad because that was the response I had waited patiently for 🙂

When I got home, I climb on my bed with tears in my eyes and gave God one reason He needs to help me, and He did. Our God is a compassionate God. Don’t give up on Him, because He won’t give up on you! No matter the present situation of things; don’t take your eyes off Jesus. Trust Him with your whole heart and He will lift you.

Go back to Him this week, pour your heart out to Him, and I assure you, He will never fail you 🙂
